ChildrensHour03

WHAT WE ARE:

We are St. Mark’s Children’s Hour Program, established over 50 years ago at St. Mark’s Lutheran Church, Butler PA.  We are dedicated to providing children a low cost non-denominational preschool experience with roots in Christianity.

WHO WE ARE:

This program is run entirely by the Moms, Dads, Grandparents, and “Loved Ones” of preschoolers in the program, and is a “volunteer” program.  All children in the program have someone that helps out at least once a month. These will be the teachers, the classroom helpers, the storytellers, etc.

WHEN AND WHERE

We meet Wednesday mornings from 9:30 AM to 11:30 AM at St. Mark’s Lutheran Church, located at 201 West Jefferson St. in Butler, PA.  Children are assigned to classes based on their age, and have regular class leaders; as well as, class helpers.

WHAT WE DO:

In the two hours your child is at Children’s Hour, he/she will have a Bible story read to them, have a short lesson that ties their lives to the story, do crafts, play games, have a snack, sing songs and still have time to play and make friends!
