Brothers and Sisters, grace to you and peace from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ.

We are all familiar with the word grace. We affirm that we are saved by grace, not because of anything we have done to deserve that saving grace. We believe that because God loves us, he gave his only Son, so that whoever believes in him will not perish but will have eternal life (John 3.16). Any attempt to explain the Christian faith without reference to grace would be a serious distortion of it. But is God’s grace expressed solely in salvation, solely in his giving of his Son for us?…
