It’s time to go back to the beginning!  That’s what we do on the first Sunday of Advent.  It is the time of preparation for the celebration of the coming of Jesus the Messiah.  The first Sunday of Advent is the beginning of the Christian year and the liturgical calendar.  As I pointed out in my November article, the celebration of the reign of Christ on “Christ the King Sunday” closes the Christian year….
