Women of the Church

Each woman is automatically a member when she joins St. Mark's.

Activities:

• February and October
  Cookie Packing for college students and military personnel.
  
  
• April
  Senior Christian Luncheon at noon for all members over 80 years of age.
  
  
• May
  Mother and Daughter Dinner for all women and guests.
  
  
• August
  Picnic and Bible Study for all women.
  
  
• November
  Thankoffering Sunday is the opportunity to give what the women saved through the year in thankfulness to God. This money always goes to missions overseas.
  
  
• December
  Christmas party for the congregation at 7 PM on the second Friday of December, 2009.
  
  
• December
  Salad Luncheon and Bible Study at noon on the first Tuesday of December.
  
  
• Sisters in Christ
  This group meets four time a year at Grace, Trinity or St. Mark's Churches at 6 p.m. The Ladies bring a covered dish to share. After the meal we make crafts for nursing homes.
  
  
• Ruth Bible Study
  First Tuesday morning of each month at 9 AM.
  
  
• Eve Bible Study
  7 PM on the Fourth Tuesday of each month from September through April.
  
  
• Helping Hands
  The after-the-funeral meal provided for St. Mark's members.
  
  
• 3-T (Tea, Talk & Task)
  First Monday morning following the first Tuesday of Ruth Bible Study at 9 AM.
  
  
• Home Care Members
  We send birthday and special occasion cards to them.
  
  
• Prayer Chain
  Forward prayer requests to a team of prayer partners.
